She is a vocal workshop leader working in collaboration with the Bristol Hippodrome. She is the musical director of the Bristol Hippodrome Choir and runs vocal workshops for beginners to professionals based at The Unitarian Meeting Hall, and The Bristol Hippodrome.
As a vocalist she has studied with leading contemporary sopranos Rosemary Hardy, Jo Morton and Sarah Walker as well studying with the jazz singer Carol Grimes in London. She has performed as a soloist with the New Music Ensemble, performed her own electronic compositions at BBC Radio 4's More than words festival and on BBC Radio Bristol. Her electroacoustic composition ‘If you hear me here’ and installation 'The Warden's Survey' were featured at Bristol’s Elektrostatic festival at Colston Hall. She was a member of Quadelectronic in Leicester. She also organised and performed in the Contemporary Music Venture concert series 2012 in Bristol.
As a lead singer she fronts the punk blues band the Husky Tones and with Harper Bourne, Vanity Press, performed in venues and festivals around the UK. On radio she has performed on BBC Radio Four, BBC Radio Two, BBC Radio Leiceter and BBC Radio Bristol.She has performed in London at the Riverside Studios, The Jazz Cafe, The Union Chapel, 100 Club, The Blues Kitchen. In the Midlands at the Birmingham Rep Theatre, The Crescent Theatre, The MAC, The Y Theatre. In Bristol at the Bristol Old Vic, The Arnolfini, Colston Hall, The Cube, The Square Club and The Victoria Rooms. Festivals have included: Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Tete a Tete Opera Festival, Buxton Fringe Festival, Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival and Strawberry Fields Festival. She has been guest vocalist on recordings for composers Chris Conway, Kathy Hinde, Sophia Alexandra, Jim Tetlow and as a voice over artist for Snowline Films, Spanco and Plastic Buddha Films. She was awarded the University of Bristol 2012/2013 vice chancellors initiative fund prize for 'Rouse Ye Women'.
